A wish come true for a NoDak Twins Fan

Prior to today's Twins Spring Training game there will be a 9-year-old boy on the field wearing a Justin Morneau jersey and searching for his favorite star. This young Twins fan is making the trip with his family to watch Spring Training as part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Dakota.

The fan's name is Ryan Hoiland and for the last seven years he has been battling an immune deficiency. This means that he has faced various struggles in his life. He is more at risk to get infections and other medical conditions. It is also a health problem that is more prevalent in boys than in girls. One result of his immune deficiency includes regular infusions to replenish antibodies in his blood.

Before he left North Dakota he received a variety of Twins themed memorabilia to kick off his Make-A-Wish trip. He was given a Twins jersey, a Morneau t-shirt, and an autographed Morneau baseball card. A Morneau themed gift pack for one of Morneau's biggest fans.

There will be much to do for Ryan and his family as they attend their first Spring Training. Enjoy the trip, Ryan, from one NoDak Twins Fan to another.
